Primary colors

Secondary colors

By mixing two primary colors, you get secondary colors

Blue + violet = violet blue

The complementary colors

A complementary color of a given color is defined as opposite to the chromatic wheel

The complementary color of yellow is purple and vice versa;
The complementary color of red is green and vice versa;
The complementary color of the blue is orange and vice versa.
